CRAFTSMANSHIP SINCE 1953

The Vauvy House

Vauvy is first and foremost a story of transmission. In 2016, Jean and Atahualpa took over the family business initiated in 1953 by their grandfather and then their father. Under the watchful eye of the latter, they decided to bring the brilliantly set up catering service up to date and to revitalize the whole. The two brothers moved up a gear, acquiring a 220m2 equipped laboratory and a fleet of vehicles to ensure the production and delivery of services. They now have more than 600 events to their credit.
Vauvy also has a responsive sales team ready to support you at all stages of your thinking, a team of experienced cooks and pastry chefs, as well as a brigade of experienced and hand-picked maître d'hôtel.

Our Cuisine

Our ambition is to create the classics of French gastronomy to perfection, while managing to convey emotion. Our father, Alain, has always been a home cook and it is essential for us not to lose this tradition. That's why we choose noble products full of flavour, in order to cook exceptional dishes without distorting them.
French-style dishes, generous buffets, gastronomic workshops... We try to keep it simple and relaxed, through an elegant cuisine made with authentic products that we enjoy cooking. We adapt to your desires, sharing this simplicity that puts the product at the heart of everything. Our services are generous, varied, meticulous and waiting for only one thing: to be tasted.

Responsible development

Now more than ever, sustainable development and a responsible approach are at the heart of our priorities. It is by choosing what is best for you that we help limit our environmental impact. Indeed, we strive to use raw materials from organic farming, favor short circuits from local producers and offer exclusively seasonal products. We limit the use of plastics or single-use items to what is strictly necessary and thus reduce all our waste. Finally, we participate in social inclusion at our own level by using the services of the ESAT de la Mare Savin, Envie or Jardins de Cocagne, and by training staff through internships and work-study programs.
It is through simple but essential gestures that we improve our social and environmental policy every day.

Vauvy Family

It is because they have been immersed in it all their childhood that Jean and Atahualpa decide to take up the torch of their father, Alain, and to make the family business the reference caterer in terms of authenticity and conviviality.
They listened to the stories of one of them cutting his teeth at La Moutière de Montfort l'Amaury, before following him into the field when he set out to have his own clients. What better way to pass on your know-how than to take your children under your wing... The family tradition continues and it's a success!
